"Manhattanhenge" about to descend on NY

The Salisbury Plain of England has Stonehenge. The Big Apple has "Manhattanhenge."

The term, coined by American Museum of Natural History astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson and inspired by Stonehenge, describes a twice-yearly phenomenon where the sun is perfectly aligned with New York City's east-west grid to create an amazing glow of light that simultaneously bathes the north and south sides of each cross street on Manhattan's street grid.
