Ke$ha postpones tour dates under doctor's orders

Ke$ha announced Tuesday that she's postponing her March and April tour dates so she can continue to undergo treatment for an eating disorder.

"I was so looking forward to performing at these dates but I need to follow my doctor's advice and get my health back on track," she said in a statement. “All of your support during this time has been so amazing. I couldn't have done this without you all. I look forward to coming back stronger than ever on the next tour."

Fans are encouraged to check with their local box office for refund information.

In early January, the 26-year-old singer revealed she had entered a treatment center, explaining, "I'll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder ... to learn to love myself again. Exactly as I am."

Her mother has since spoken out about Ke$ha's condition, saying that her daughter "almost died."

The California native has checked in with her fans on Twitter, thanking them for their supporting and writing: "I couldn't do this without you."
