Katy Perry's "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" gets a violin remix

(CBS) - So, Katy Perry's "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" Have you heard it? More importantly, have you seen the video? It's pretty great. Definitely a quality song. (We're K.P. fans if you hadn't guessed.)

As with so many pop songs these days, T.G.I.F. is getting a make-over. Not just any old make-over, a classical instrument make-over! Violinist DSharp (playing possibly the coolest violin we've ever seen) can take it from here.

The man's got talent - on many levels. First of all, anyone who can legitimately rock out on violin has our eternal respect. Also, that's an impressively sculpted beard. Finally, DSharp is clearly a master of self-promotion. (I don't really have to tell you where to follow him on Twitter, do I?)
