Joe Lieberman, "conversation" Piece

The Democrats, filed one by one, into the Old Senate Chamber to deal with the Lieberman mess at 9:30 a.m.

Lieberman, who is expected to wiggle off the hook, said little to the mob of reporters, saying he "hoped to have a good conversation" with his colleagues.

After the conversing, the Dems are supposed to vote on Lieberman's fate by secret ballot -- unless they decide to pull a Stevens.
