Jesse Jackson Hospitalized

Reverend Jesse Jackson was hospitalized Saturday night for bronchial asthma.

After experiencing shortness of breath, wheezing, and coughing, the former presidential candidate entered Doctors Hospital of Hyde Park. He was listed in good condition Monday.

The 56-year-old had been at a rally in Chicago for his civil rights organization, the Rainbow/PUSH organization.

"He's much better," than when he was admitted, nursing supervisor Mildred Soriano said Monday morning.

Jackson got sick on a trip to Africa a week ago. His busy schedule following his return made it even worse, according to his son, Jonathan.
