Ja Rule goes inside for the next two years
(CBS) We've been hearing about it all day and now it's official: Ja Rule is an inmate.

TMZ reports the rapper turned himself into a New York courthouse and was processed. He pleaded guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon in 2010. Police found a loaded semi-automatic handgun in his car in 2007.
Last week TMZ asked Ja Rule some questions after a photo shoot about his impending incarceration. While in prison, he said he planned to get his G.E.D., write a book and maybe take up an instrument.
