ISP: Public Pole Dancing
I've ridden the N Train many times in the past 14 years, and I have experienced many unique sights and exotic fragrances, but this may just take the cake.
On a dare from a brand new Website, four young women bumped and grinded their way through a train car, S-Factor style. And, in the end, the efforts paid off. The women won a grand prize of $10,000. I must say, this was no amateur display. All four of them move like pros. Professional dancers, that it.
As for the MTA, while nothing in the rule book specifically excludes pole dancing, a spokesman told the Daily News that the behavior constituted "disorderly conduct."
Not that the other passengers seemed to mind.
Speaking of daring behavior, a young man in Iceland took a big gamble and reportedly pranked the White House. He called an unlisted number and pretended to be the President of Iceland. It sounds like the ultimate episode of "Punk'd," but I wouldn't try it at home. The teen apparently got a visit from the authorities in Iceland.
