Interview: Pee Wee Herman Is Back In 2010!

Pee Wee Herman is coming back!

You heard me correctly -- the iconic character who took over pop culture with Pee Wees Playhouse in the '80s will be reintroduced to the public in 2010.

It's been a long time coming. Some of you may have noticed that Pee Wee aka Paul Reubens went into obscurity after his 1991 arrest for indecent exposure at an adult cinema (see related CBSNews.com article about how he pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge of indecent exposure).

Even that hasn't stopped people of all ages from loving him, imitating him in conversation and dusting off that classic suit, skinny tie and white loafers for Halloween year after year.

Pee Wee recently stepped back into the spotlight when he launched his own Twitter account and appeared on The Jay Leno Show in September. Now fans will be able to catch him in person at The Club Nokia Theater in downtown Los Angeles for four weeks in January.

I recently caught up with the man himself at the "Pee Wee Herman Show" press conference, where he gave me the scoop on his upcoming multi-million dollar stage show:
