"Horrible Bosses" may get a sequel

(CBS) "Horrible Bosses" director Seth Gordon is considering giving the employee-revenge comedy another go.

"We're talking about it," Gordon told USA Today of the possibility of a "Horrible Bosses " sequel.

Pictures: Summer movies 2011

Despite getting mixed reviews from critics, the first film has taken in $82.6 million at the domestic box office.

"Horrible Bosses" stars Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day as three working guys who plot to kill their employers - played by Kevin Spacey, Colin Farrell and Jennifer Aniston, respectively.

But, there's one question when it comes to a sequel. (SPOILER ALERT)

Farrell's hilariously obnoxious character, Bobby Pellitt, gets his comeuppance in the first film. But, Gordon says, he'd like for the horrible boss to come back somehow.

"I feel like it would be a shame [to] not have Bobby Pellitt [back]," he said. "Maybe in some sort of dream sequence."

When asked about playing Pellitt, Farrell told USA Today: "Bobby Pellitt, kung-fu master extraordinaire. So much fun... I can't remember having such fun designing the physical world of a character as I have with that guy, down to the car that he drove, the fact that he loved karaoke. All of it."

Tell us: Do you think there should be a "Horrible Bosses" sequel?
