Handel's "Messiah" goes bare

(CBS) - This video is called "Handel Disaster." But that seems a little harsh. It's not a true disaster as much as it is a cautionary tale - a lesson to always double check your theater equipment. Well, except for that one guy. It's safe to say he would call it a disaster. Those undies are also a disaster of their own.

Handel's "Messiah" is a beautiful piece of music. There is nothing wrong with churches of any size performing it. Should they turn it into a technical display with wire acts? That is up for debate. But, hey, hopefully this video lifts your spirits as much as it lifts the actor's robe. And isn't that what the season is all about?
