Gmail: 5 Attachment Tips


Attachments are a part of everyday e-mail life. Over at The Official Gmail Blog, there's a roundup of five things you may not know you can do with Gmail attachments. For example, select multiple attachments (as shown above):

Attaching multiple files one by one is no fun. Instead, just multi-select the files you want to attach by holding down the Ctrl key (or Command on a Mac) and clicking on each file you want to attach. Holding down the Shift key will select a continuous list of files.
The author also covers using search to find attachments, viewing attachments online (via the Google Docs viewer), dragging and dropping attachments, and making sure you don't forget an attachment you promised to send.
