Giuliani: Go Sox!

At Sunday night's Republican presidential debate in Orlando, former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani, a longtime fan of the New York Yankees, mocked Hillary Clinton for becoming a Yankee fan while "growing up in Chicago."

But Giuliani might get a Bronx cheer of his own for telling Bostonians that he's rooting for the Boston Red Sox – who are, of course, The Yankees' bitter rival – to win the World Series against the Colorado Rockies.

The Associated Press reports that Giuliani explained his going to bat for the Red Sox by saying "I'm an American League fan, and I go with the American League team, maybe with the exception of the Mets."

He said he made the comments "not just because I'm here in Massachusetts."
