Fastest Growing Global Brand

You could always Google it, but I'll make it easy for you: The world's fastest growing brand is Google. For one, it can't hurt to be listed in the Oxford English Dictionary as an official verb; the brand also benefits from a cadre of new web applications and acquisitions that have captured our attention.

Year-over-year, Google's "Brand Value" grew 46 percent, says the 2006 Interbrand/BusinessWeek report. That represents the most explosive growth in Interbrand's six-year history of recording brand value. Still, though, Google hasn't managed to catch up to the current brand champion, Coca-Cola, whose image is worth an estimated $67 billion based on Interbrand's methodology.
