Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield get awkward on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show"

Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are reprising their roles as Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2." They're also a real-life couple -- one that probably now wishes they hadn't sat down together for this interview on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

The duo, who have kept their romance fairly private, got some playful grilling from Ellen DeGeneres during their appearance on the talk show, with the help of co-star Jamie Foxx (who plays the villain Electro in the superhero sequel).

Stone keeps a poker face through questions about their chemistry and if they practice kissing, while Garfield takes numerous sips of water and jokingly asks if the show is back.

"The chemistry just seems so real," DeGeneres deadpanned, as Garfield tried to get her to drop it. Foxx chimed in, "It just looks so natural!"

All four had a good laugh over it, but it was still as awkward as you could imagine getting grilled about your relationship on national TV could be.

Stone, Garfield and their "natural chemistry" will return to theaters when "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" opens in theaters on May 2.
