Ducks' Sandstrom Sidelined

Anaheim right wing Tomas Sandstrom underwent surgery Tuesday to repair a fracture in his left wrist and will be sidelined 8-to-10 weeks, the team said.

Sandstrom, 34, suffered the injury during Sunday night's 3-2 loss to the Detroit Red Wings.

Sandstrom, who will begin rehabilitation in two to three weeks, has five goals and two assists in 12 games this season. He has played in 937 games over 15 seasons with 384 goals and 447 assists.
