"Down2Size" Submission Guidelines
In order to submit your weight loss essay and photo in the "Early Gets Down2Size" series, you must meet the following requirements:
(i) Be a legal resident of one of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia, and reside and be physically located in one of those jurisdictions; and
(ii) Be at least thirteen (13) years of age. Those under the age of 18 must have parental/guardian permission prior to submitting their weight loss essay and photo.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR ESSAY AND PHOTO:
All Essays and Photos must be received by 11:59 PM ET, December 31, 2009.

The Essays and Photos must be formatted according to the requirements set forth in the Requirements Summary below.
Essays and Photos which CBS deems in its sole discretion to be sexually explicit, sexually suggestive, offensive, illegal, pornographic, obscene, in bad taste, or which otherwise may reflect unfavorably on CBS will not be reviewed. Limit one (1) Essay and (1) Photo per person. CBS is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, corrupted, stolen, misdirected or delayed Essays and Photos. All Essays and Photos become the property of CBS and will not be acknowledged or returned.
Requirements Summary.
Each Photo must:
1. be in a jpeg format;
2. be no larger than 1 MB;
3. be a photo of you alone.
Each Essay and Photo must:
4. not infringe any third party's rights, including, without limitation, trademark, right of publicity, right of privacy or trade secret and, must not in any way violate applicable laws and regulations or network standards.
5. be suitable for display and publication on national television and not contain any content or performance that is sexually explicit, sexually suggestive, offensive, illegal, pornographic, obscene, in bad taste, or which is otherwise objectionable to Sponsor, in its sole discretion;
6. not contain libelous or otherwise defamatory statements (including but not limited to words or symbols that are widely considered offensive to individuals of a particular race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or socioeconomic group);
7. not include threats to any person, place, business, group or world peace;
8. not contain any commercial content that promotes any product or service or contains or references any third party names, logos, service marks, trademarks, trade names or trade dress (including on any clothing worn by the you in the Photo).
All Essays and Photos will be reviewed by CBS for content and compliance with these submission requirements before being considered for possible broadcast; however, such review does not relieve you from responsibility for compliance with these rules.
