"Conan O'Brien Can't Stop" doc looks good!
(CBS) By now we probably all know the story of Conan O'Brien's tenure on "The Tonight Show" and what came after, the "Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television" tour. And we're probably all tired of hearing said story.
BUT: The best documentaries tackling any subject have a way of making the viewer care about something the viewer didn't know he could care about. And here's the trailer for Rodman Flender's "Conan O'Brien Can't Stop," and it's hilarious.
In two minutes and 30 seconds you can see all the anger, humor, showmanship and who-cares-let's-go-for-it attitude that O'Brien displayed as his gig at "The Tonight Show" ended and he mounted the live show. It's funny and it's a refreshing display of honesty in a business that's really cynical.
Best moment: O'Brien walks an empty street on a cloudy day and asks, "Should I be worried that we're opening in a town where nobody lives?"
And note to Charlie Sheen: This is how it's done, dude.
"Conan O'Brien Can't Stop" hits theaters June 24.
