"American Idol": The Digital Experience
LOS ANGELES (CBS)
Just as "American Idol" finally announced its much-awaited panel, a YouTube "Idol video goes viral...
If you're a fan of the show, you'll love this American Idol Interactive Experience created by The Fine Brothers. It was posted only Tuesday afternoon and already it has over 200,000 views. "The whole 'who will be the judges' craziness that's been happening in the news made us hunker down and figure out how to make an 'Idol' judging game, but wanted to move the needle further," The Fine Brothers told me. "At the end of the first video you are promoted to choose between 6 celebrity judges. After selecting one you are brought to another video that knows which you selected first. You then pick a second judge of the remaining 5, which brings you to another video that knows which 2 you selected, after picking a third judge, the video of them together plays. You can then go back and mix and match, there are 20 combinations in total."
At a news conference Wednesday in Los Angeles, host Ryan Seacrest announced that Season 10 judges will be Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson.See the video below.
