Washington, D.C.

The capital is the go-to place if you're looking to meet a smart, ambitious singleton. D.C. is one of the wealthiest metropolitan areas in the nation, with countless lawyers, lobbyists and would-be politicians flocking to the city. Nearly 47 percent of residents have college degrees, and the single population is huge.
