After amassing fame and fortune, his experience in the Benton Harbor math club did not help his finances. In 2009, Sinbad was placed in the top 10 of the worst tax debtors for the state of California. Today, he has cleared up his tax problems & has voiced a number of characters for animated programs. Sounds like Sinbad is still marching on!
Steven Seagal, still as fast as lightning!
Born in Lansing, this kung-fu action star took no prisoners at the box office in the '90s and early 2000s. Today, Steven IS taking prisoners on his cable reality show "Steven Seagal: Lawman". He recently released his own energy drink called Lightning Bolt. It's rumored the name for the drink was inspired by the speed of Mr. Seagal's karate kicks. They're still as fast as lightning!

Billy West: The Most Sucessful Actor You've Never Seen!
Another Detroiter, Billy West, has done hundreds of voice-overs but is famously known for his work on Nickelodeon’s “The Ren and Stimpy Show”. The voice of both Ren and Stimpy has also had long runs on the animated show Futurama and the commercial character Buzz, The Honey Nut Cheerios Bee. He has also voiced many film characters including Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd in 1996’s “Space Jam”. You can hear him now on Futurama as the character Phillip J. Fry.

This Detroit native later relocated to the West Coast where his early music career took off. Xzibit has had small roles on “Extreme Makeover”, and CBS' own “Hawaii Five-O".

Still a fixture in the comedy scene, David can be found regularly appearing as a guest host on "The Adam Carolla Show".

However, this St. Clair Shores native is well-known for his television role as Joey Gladstone (aka Uncle Joey) on "Full House". Dave can be found in a 2013 episode of CBS' "How I Met Your Mother" and attending various Detroit Red Wing and Detroit Tigers charity events.
