NBA FREE AGENCY...BURP

No fluff here, the entire process sickens me.

First of all, these divas have such an inflated sense of accomplishment and ability that they make it impossible to like them. Yes Bron Bron, Amare, Dirk, Joe, Carlos and your total of ZERO rings need a reality check. Not all of you are max players. Making 15-million isn't a personal affront. Get over yourselves. Stop wondering why there is no title in your future when the reason is you. Learn from Garnett's folly in Minnesota. Take slightly less so the novel concept of having quality teammates can happen.

Secondly, why is it that players use the union as there defense mechanism for being selfish punks? Example, "Oh the union wouldn't like it if I took less money in order to win" Spare me. If your name was Bruce Bowen maybe. If you believe the union has any control over what true big time players do you are a fool. Instead of Bosh, Lebron and Wade all just taking 16- million per and dominating they grind for that extra chunk per and likely never reach their true potential. Sick part is it isn't a Lebron thing or a Wade thing, it's about the second tier of guys. Amare you aren't a max player, Bosh, Johnson, Boozer, Lee, Pierce, the list goes on and on. This isn't science. Teams shouldn't need to pay two max players and frankly should blackball these clowns. The new CBA is coming down and these contracts signed this summer will look even more ridiculous in a years time people.

Another point, anyone else sick of teams literally giving players away in the name of the mighty cap space? Again, no other league practices this to the NBA level. "Hey here is my starting PG, I'll take a corpse back because I want over 30-million in space to hope someone takes it."

I want to bash my head into a urinal.

Summer will end. Greed will reign supreme. Possible dynasties will go by the wayside in favor of new G2 commercials, and it will be business as usual in the old association. One or two dominant teams, a rash of phony competitive ones and literally 15 teams that are putrid with zero chance of contending for anything other than a bunch of bouncing balls in May.

Wake me when it's over.
