Highs in the 70s Wednesday in Chicago
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Gorgeous spring weather settles into the area overnight with clear skies and comfortable low temperatures in the 50s.
On Thursday, mostly sunny skies and warm weather dominate the picture, with some areas reaching the lower 80s.
The First Alert Weather team is tracking two disturbances expected to disrupt some holiday weekend plans.
A Weather Alert is in effect Friday for mainly afternoon and evening thunderstorms, some of which may be strong to severe.
A separate system may bring widespread rain and another risk of strong storms on Sunday. Saturday currently looks like the best day for outdoor plans over Memorial Day weekend.
Stay with the First Alert Weather team through the holiday weekend for updates.
