Chicago Weather: Some Rain Showers Possible For Thursday Morning
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A cold front will pass through early afternoon Thursday.
A few rain showers may line up ahead of the boundary, especially closer to the Wisconsin state line sometime between 9 and 11 a.m. Then will come a break.
A second chance for rain develops for the afternoon and early evening rush as instability showers develop behind the front. Thursday will be mild with highs in the mid-50s.
Temperatures go back to normal on Friday as a chilly wind sets up out of the northwest/north. But that dry flow will clear the sky.
The high winds will create 8- to 12-foot waves along the Indiana shoreline. So a Lakeshore Flood Watch will be in effect all day Friday.
The highest winds will be in the morning.
