Bipolar Girl, 15, Missing

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A Wisconsin family visited Chicago for spring break. A week later, they're still searching for their 15-year-old daughter, who never made it back home.

Jade Howell's family says she has bipolar disorder and has been without her medication. They also say she may have no way to judge a dangerous situation.

"Her moods go up and down.  I don't know what state of mind she's in right now, being off these meds more than almost a week," the girl's mother, Candi Gonzalez, told CBS 2.

Howell is 4 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 92 pounds.  She has brown eyes and black hair and a scar on her left forearm.

Anyone with any information on her whereabouts is asked to call Chicago Police at (312) 744-8200.

The family says Howell attended a Chicago school before they moved to Wisconsin.
