Yankee Teammates Are Willing To Put Up With A Rod If He Performs On The Field

Ken Singleton is a former Oriole who is now a member of Yankees broadcasts for the Yes Network.

Ken joined Ed and Steve to talk about the shape of the A-Rod apology and the shape of the AL East as the start of spring training is just around the corner.

Ken started off by talking about the hand written A-Rod apology saying "number one I didn't expect much more from that, any chance of him sitting in front of the New York media was slim...it doesn't surprise me at all that this was the way he chooses to deal with it." As for how he is perceived in the Yankees clubhouse by his teammates Ken said "they're willing to put up with it as long as he can pull his weight...it's going to be interesting to see what kind of player he'll be this year, what does he have left and can he help the team?." Ken also went on to talk about the Orioles roster being a lot better then people are giving them credit for and even said "I think the Orioles are the front-runners for the AL East."
