Train Safety Video Filmed In Linwood
LINWOOD, Md. (AP) -- A public service announcement video has been filmed in Linwood, and local rescue workers got to take part.
While professional actors portrayed the main roles in the video, Union Bridge Fire Company EMT Bob Buckley and paramedic Dwayne Shorb provided the ambulance for a scene and played emergency responders.
The 30-second spot filmed Wednesday was produced by Operation Lifesaver, a Virginia nonprofit that focuses on train safety issues.
Buckley and Shorb also provided impromptu radio dialogue to be used as background sound in the PSA.
Marmie Edwards, vice president of communications for Operation Lifesaver, says the PSA will not air in Maryland, but residents can visit the organization's website in a few weeks to see it.
