Morgan State University Receives Record-Breaking $40M Donation From Philanthropist MacKenzie Scott
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Morgan State received a $40 million donation from venture philanthropist and author MacKenzie Scott.
It's the biggest, private donation in the school's history.
Morgan State said most of the money will be used for the new "leading the world endowment fund."
The rest will help student success, advance research and enhance investments in other mission-focused priorities and initiatives.
