John Heyman Joins Scott Jeremy and Jason
John Heyman from CBS Sports joined the Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn to cover the MLB post season and to give his thoughts on the remaining games in the NLDS. Clayton Kershaw got the start against the Cardinals on Tuesday afternoon only three days' rest. John thinks it's fair to expect Kershaw to perform. "Well you always expect the good one to show up, cause it normally is the good one. But St. Louis seems to have his number in the post season for whatever reason."
Jason asked John about the impact on the two teams will have coming off of five days rest. "Both teams swept so there should be no excuses, I mean some teams might handle it better than others. I can recall years where Detroit was dominant in the early rounds had a long wait and laid an egg in the post season. It can have an effect, but in this case I think it's fair for both teams."
