Balt. Co. Mom Heads To Court Over Bullied Son

ESSEX, Md. (WJZ) ―A Baltimore County mother says bullies verbally abused and even urinated on her son, and she's not going to take it.  It all started in a bathroom at Deep Creek Middle School in Essex, and it's now headed to a courtroom.

Kai Jackson sat down with the sixth grader and his mother.

Right now, the school system is doubting or questioning whether the victim could have seen the boys who did this because he was in a stall, but the boy says he can identify one by their shoes.  There also may be video of boys running out of a bathroom.

It happened the morning of October 7 at Deep Creek Middle School. The details are disgusting.

"Who in the world would go urinate and violate somebody's space?" said the boy, who isn't being identified.

The sixth grader says an eighth-grade boy urinated on him.

"They urinated on his shoes and on his clothes," said his mom, identified only as Katrina.  "My frustration is moreso toward the school than anything else."

His mother says that's because the school's response was as bad as the incident itself.

Her son says he ran out of the bathroom after the incident and says after telling administrators what happened, he was forced to stay in urine-soaked clothes for the rest of the day.

A hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.  Katrina says the suspect denies urinating on her son.

She filed a police report and filed a complaint with the school.

The school system says they thoroughly investigated the incident and take it seriously.  Katrina says the school isn't revealing any details about the investigation.

The boy in this case is now in a different school.
