Widow of officer attacked by rioters on Jan. 6 calls for action on police suicides

The widow of a D.C. police officer who died by suicide nine days after responding to the January 6 attack told CBS News congressional correspondent Scott MacFarlane her husband was forever changed by the trauma he experienced that day. Now, she's pressing Congress to pass legislation that allows for line of duty designations for law enforcement officers who take their own lives.
