White House views aid to Egypt as leverage
President Obama met with his top national security advisers to talk about the crisis in Egypt. While no decision has been made, the White House could use the threat of canceling the aid to force Egypt's military to release Muslim Brotherhood prisoners and take steps toward a democratic election.
