Studying the mating habits of sharks
Sharks play a critical role in maintaining the underwater ecosystem as the top predator in the world's oceans. But there is still a lot we do not know about them. Every year, like clockwork, nurse sharks gather at the Dry Tortugas, west of Key West, Florida, to mate, while scientists gather to catch them and study this little-known behavior.
