Michael Cohen, former Trump lawyer and fixer, pleads guilty in Russia probe
In special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation, President Trump's former personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, unexpectedly entered a plea deal in a New York City federal court Thursday. Cohen admitted he lied to Congress last year about a plan to build a Trump Tower in Moscow, telling a judge he did it out of loyalty. The plea comes just two weeks before Cohen is scheduled to be sentenced for pleading guilty to charges of bank and tax fraud.
