Ebola protocols clash with African burial customs

As health officials try to slow the spread of Ebola from already deceased victims, local postmortem rituals are being impacted. Ebola protocols suggest bodies be removed from homes in less than 24 hours, despite the fact that local customs often call for the deceased to spend a week or more with the family before being buried.
