The presidential historian and "Sunday Morning" contributor says the impending acquittal of President Donald Trump in his impeachment trial (one which disallowed witnesses and evidentiary documents) shows the Senate placing political party self-interest above the long-term integrity of the legislative branch – signs that our country is embroiled in a domestic cold war.
