Biden says U.S. will not participate in retaliatory strikes on Iran
The White House is focused on preventing any further escalation between Israel and Iran following the direct assault by Iran over the weekend. A U.S. official told CBS News that President Biden has informed Israel’s prime minister that while the U.S. stepped up to protect Israel, the U.S. will not participate in any retaliatory strikes on Iran.
