Extreme heat from climate change can affect all of us, says climate journalist
Climate journalist Jeff Goodell wrote about how all of us can be susceptible to extreme heat in his book, "The Heat Will Kill You First: Life and Death on a Scorched Planet.” He included a chapter about a Bay Area family who went on a hike in the Sierra foothills and were found dead on a trail due to complications from extreme heat.
