SAN FRANCISCO – A 33-year-old woman who was reported missing after failing to board a cruise ship docked in San Francisco has been located in the city.

San Francisco police said Alaina Marie Adams, who identifies herself as a resident of Midvale, Utah on social media, was located on April 5 in the 1200 block of Columbus Street and appeared to be "in good health and foul play is not suspected."

No reason was given why she didn't board the Celebrity Solstice before it left port on Monday.

Police said they received a call from a woman reporting Adams missing. They immediately issued a news release seeking the public's assistance in locating her.

The cruise line also worked with SFPD to locate Adams.

"The safety of our guests is always a top priority," the cruise line said in a statement to KPIX. "In the event a guest does not return to the ship, we reach out to that guest directly and provide support on rejoining the ship at the next port. As needed, we also collaborate with local authorities and in this instance, we couldn't be happier to hear that Ms. Adams has been located and found safe."
