Proud Freckle-Face Redheads Insulted By Match.com Billboard
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A Match.com billboard in the London Underground has incurred the wrath of freckle-face gingers around the globe.
On it there's a wide-eyed redhead with freckles with the caption, "If you don't like your imperfections, someone else will."
Since when are freckles and red hair imperfections, asked scores of indignant people on Twitter.
Match.com's hashtag #loveyourimperfections only added insult to injury.
So far, the Texas-based dating site has yet to respond. Match is home to San Francisco-based OkCupid, as well as Chemistry and Tinder!

Gingers with and without freckles have held festivals in Europe in a show of pride. The tradition is starting to take hold in the States. The first annual Ginger Pride Festival in San Francisco was cancelled last summer due to bureaucratic red tape (get those permits!) but they still pulled off an after-party celebration. Chicago's 'Redhead Days' Festival is June 4-5, 2016.
