(CBS 5) – You might have one of these gathering dust on a shelf or in a closet. In this Good Question: Does anyone repair those old tube radios anymore?

ANSWER: Jerry Cantou is a member of the California Historical Radio Society located at the KRE Radio Museum in Berkeley. He still collects and repairs radios of all types, including old tube radios. His personal collection numbers in the tens of thousands. Cantou said he learned how to fix old radios as a second career after retiring from a construction job. He enjoys the old radios and said they "just sound better" than any solid state or transistor radio he's heard.
