$4,252 Is San Francisco's New Median Rent Price
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- San Francisco's ridiculous rent prices have gotten even more obscene, with the median rent breaking the $4,000 mark.
New numbers from Zillow place the city's median price for any type of residential rental at $4,252 per month. That figure includes everything from in-law units, to condos, to single-family homes.
San Francisco is definitely not alone when it comes to rising rent prices. Zillow's Rent Index placed the median rent in San Jose at $3,131, a slight increase over even just last month.
