Zemouri Suicide Bomber Blew Himself Up After Being Shot, Says Interior Minister

A terrorist attack targeted coast guards in Zemouri, east of Algiers, killing 8 on Saturday. Algerian Interior Minister, Nourredine Yazid Zerhouni said there were similarities between the attack in Tizi Ouzou and Saturday's suicide bombing in Zemouri Port. Documents were found inside the suicide bomber's car, according to the Zerhouni. "These documents are similar to those found inside the car bomb which was used in Tizi Ouzou attack," Zerhouni said. The car bomb was loaded with 200 to 300 kg of explosives.
