Zahra, 10, was reported missing on Saturday by her father, Adam Baker, more than 12 hours after he claimed the child's stepmother last saw his daughter sleeping. Elisa Baker, 42, has been called a "person of interest" by the Hickory Police Department, and was arrested Sunday on unrelated charges.

Zahra is a bone cancer survivor. She wears hearing aids and a prosthetic leg. Police say no one has seen the girl in the last month with the exception of her immediate family.

The police department issued an Amber alert for Zahra on Sunday, but they canceled it Tuesday morning, just three days after the girl was reported missing. Police are now calling the case a homicide investigation.

According to CBS affiliate WBTV, it appears Elisa Baker has a social networking site on MySpace, in which she calls her herself "gothicfairy6668."

The creator of the page, however, goes by "E'lesa" and says she is 42-years-old, which is the same age as Elisa Baker.

The user has not signed on since Oct. 8, the day before Zahra was reported missing to police. The "mood" of the page owner that day was listed as "Crazy." There are several pictures featuring Zahra, in which she is described as the writer's daughter.

Among the several pictures posted on the site is one of Zahra holding a certificate. In one picture Zahra is described as "The Dark Child."

For hometown, the MySpace page lists, "Never, neverland." The writer also lists Queensland, Australia for state and country. The writer says she is a proud parent and a college graduate.

WBTV reports that Adam Baker and Zahra were originally from Australia and left the country several years ago.

Zahra's dad and Elisa Baker met online and got married within the last two years.

Under the "General" section, the writer says: "People often judge what they don't understand i [sic] myself prefer to be different. There is no one out there I really envy. I strive to be different in my own way,so if people [sic] stop and stare i [sic] think to myself god I feel sorry for them they are so scared to step outside the norm that they live in a constant bubble afraid to stand out and stand up for how they really feel.."

Elisa Baker is being held on a $40,000 bond at a jail in Catawba County, North Carolina. Police charged her with various unrelated misdemeanor crimes, including communicating threats and passing bad checks, on Sunday.

On Monday, she was charged with obstruction of justice after they say she confessed to writing a fake ransom note, and called her a 'person of interest' in the case. She appeared in court Wednesday morning for the obstruction charge, and requested a court-appointed attorney. The judge asked if she understood the charge against her, to which she replied, "Yes."

Anyone with information is asked to call the Hickory Police Department at 828-328-5551.
