Wesley Snipes released from prison, report says
(CBS) - Actor and producer Wesley Snipes was released from prison this week, TMZ reports.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons reportedly confirmed to TMZ that Snipes was released on April 2 and transferred to the New York Community Corrections Office where he will be placed under home confinement until July 19.
The 50-year-old Snipes was serving a three-year-sentence in Pennsylvania for failing to file his federal income tax returns. He began his sentence on Dec. 9, 2010.
