Waterskiing the hard way - without skis!

(CBS) Waterskiing the normal way looks difficult enough, but Fernando Reina Iglesias takes it one step further - he doesn't wear skis.

Iglesias is a barefoot water skier and he's set a new Guinness World Record doing it.

Towed by a helicopter off the coast of his hometown Acapulco, Mexico, Iglesias reached a speed of 153 mph.

The previous record was 135 mph - set by American water skier Scott Pellaton in 1989.

Congratulations Iglesias!
