If musical performances and moonmen trophies aren't reason enough to tune in for Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards, the network is throwing in one more -- the trailer for "Divergent" will premiere during the VMAs pre-show.
A super-short teaser for that footage was released Friday (by short, we do mean short -- just 20 seconds long), but it's enough time to catch a glimpse of stars Shailene Woodley, Theo James and Kate Winslet in the highly anticipated film.
Woodley stars as Tris Prior, a teen living in a futuristic Chicago where people are divided into factions based on their personalities. Tris learns she is "Divergent" -- meaning she doesn't fit into any one group -- and this puts her life in danger.
The full trailer will premiere during the MTV Video Music Awards pre-show, which begins Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on MTV.
"Divergent" arrives in theaters on March 21, 2014.
