Watch: Pregnant Florida woman robbed at gunpoint

MIAMI, Fla. - Authorities are searching for three men who were caught on video in Miami robbing a pregnant woman at gunpoint and slamming her into the hood of a car, reports CBS Miami.

The 39-year-old victim, who was five months pregnant at the time of the crime, told the station that she's desperate for police to find the men responsible. She declined to be named.

She said the men approached her on May 29 as she exited her car in her driveway following a day of shopping and a stop at a check-cashing store.

Surveillance video of the incident shows a beige sedan pass by her driveway as she was unloading her car. The sedan is then seeing turning around and pulling in front of her home.

Two men then exit the sedan - at least one holding a gun. The men are seen struggling with the woman for her purse before one grabs her by the stomach and slams her into the hood of their car. She bounces off and they leave her on the ground.

The men got away with the victim's purse, which had three thousand dollars cash in it, reports the station. The woman's neighbor, who helped her call 911, told the station the woman had just cashed a check before returning home.

"She started telling us what happened you know, that she was coming from Hialeah, and she thinks they were following her from over there," neighbor Danny Salgado said.

The armed robbers took off in a silver, four-door sedan that has a partial plate of BUZ, reports the station.

The victim tells CBS Miami she and the baby are okay, but she won't feel safe again until the men are caught.

Anyone with information regarding this robbery is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (305)471-TIPS (8477) or (866) 471-8477.
