Video: "Kenan & Kel" return to Good Burger

"Aw, here it goes!"

Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell finally reunited 15 years after their show "Kenan & Kel" wrapped in 2000.

Best of all, the former comedy duo reprised their "Good Burger" characters in a sketch for "The Tonight Show": Mitchell is back as dopey, lovable Ed, and Jimmy Fallon joins him behind the counter as they transform into two of the most bumbling fast food workers ever.

Thompson returns as Lester Oaks, the impatient construction worker who frequents Good Burger. Of course, it wouldn't be complete without Ed welcoming everyone into the shop by saying, "Welcome to Good Burger, home of the Good Burger. Can I take your order?"

In the clip, Good Burger has a very special guest: Black Thought of the Roots, and he's here to make Ed a special deal. Watch to see what happens.

Thompson and Mitchell also had a "Good Burger" movie in 1997, on which Thompson played a Good Burger employee named Dexter instead. The duo got their start on the show "All That," and became so popular that they got their own TV show on Nickelodeon, "Kenan & Kel," complete with a theme song by Coolio.

The two auditioned to be cast members on "Saturday Night Live," but only Thompson, who was seen as the straight man to Mitchell's screwball characters, made it as a featured player in 2003. He was later promoted to repertory player in 2005.

Thompson has enjoyed success on the small screen and occasionally on the silver screen ever since -- he starred in "Fat Albert" and made appearances in other feature films.

Mitchell has not fared as well, mostly working as a voice actor in children's TV shows. However, he is making a long-awaited comeback on the new Nickelodeon sitcom "Game Shakers."

People who grew up in the '90s had long wondered about a "Kenan & Kel" reunion, but Mitchell told outlets that Thompson was not interested. In 2012, he told TMZ, "The truth is Kenan does not want to be seen with me in any form of media, or even have my name mentioned around him," breaking the hearts of "Kenan & Kel" fans everywhere.

But the two seemed to be happy to see each other again in a behind-the-scenes video, where they riff off each other and switch characters. It looks like the comedians have made amends -- perhaps over a few bottles of orange soda.
