Video: Bumbling burglary suspect caught on tape in California

(CBS) - Police in Redding, Calif., have released video of a bumbling burglary suspect throwing a rock at the window of a convenience store.

The video captures the man looking into the glass doors of the store, walking off camera, and returning almost immediately, but this time wearing a mask.

He then hurls a rock at the glass, which shatters, but appears to spook the man. He turns to run, but trips over a curb and falls onto the pavement before getting away.

According to the Redding Searchlight, the man is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing about 350 pounds.
