(CBS/AP) VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - A Virginia restaurant owner has pleaded guilty to aggravated sexual battery after spanking three young women he was helping financially.

Henry Allen Fitzsimmons, 54, entered his plea Wednesday in a Virginia Beach court and was sentenced to two years in prison.

According to authorities, Fitzsimmons agreed to provide an allowance and college tuition to the three young women in a supposed "scholarship program." Under this deal, the women agreed to be spanked if they broke certain rules, such as failing to call Fitzsimmons or drinking alcohol.

Six other assault and sexual battery charges were dropped in his case, as the women had agreed to be spanked.

Fitzsimmons also pleaded guilty to perjury involving a liquor license application for his restaurant.
